In 1950, Frederick P. Clark started a planning consulting practice in Rye
to help shape growth and development in the rapidly expanding suburbs
of New York City. And that is precisely what the firm, which still
bears his name, has been doing ever since.
Initially, the focus was on municipal and county planning, and the
development of implementing regulations to accommodate orderly change.
During the 1970s, as the development process became increasingly complex,
the firm expanded to offer traffic and environmental services as well.
Today, the firm remains committed to help shape better communities
by guiding the growth required to serve human needs in ways that protect
the environment.
Frederick P. Clark Associates continues to build upon its
leadership and experience in developing innovative solutions for land use
regulation, development, planning and environmental protection.
